Diaspora Town Hall

Join us at the Diaspora Town Hall meeting, a highlight of the 24th Annual US-Africa Trade & Investment Conference/Expo, AfrICANDO 2023!

Title: “Future is Now for Diaspora Investment & Engagement”

On December 17, 2002, the Interim African Union Secretariat held a Town Hall meeting – “The Future of Africa,” in partnership with The Foundation for Democracy in Africa at Howard University, to engage the Diaspora and unfold the programs and initiatives of the New African Union. Today, the impact of the African Union is felt across member states at regional and international levels as it addresses core structural areas: peace and security, civic education, good governance, democracy, trade, critical to economic, social, and cultural transformation, necessary to position member states as the next Frontier for innovation, manufacturing, and industrialization globally.
