Making a gift of real estate to The Foundation for Democracy in Africa (FDA) may afford you certain financial benefits. Please consult with your financial advisor on your personal circumstances.

In order to initiate the process, you must first obtain an independent, qualified appraisal of the property. The value of the property should be at least US$25,000 (or US$10,000 for undeveloped land) if you wish to make an outright gift to The FDA. If you are interested in funding a charitable remainder trust, the property should be valued at a minimum of US$100,000.
